The Bow River Pathway goes through Montgomery to the south and west. But you have to use roads to get up the hill. Trying to cycle from the river up the hill to 32 Ave is a challenge, so any help is appreciated. Instead of using the busy Home Rd route, you might want to turn onto 49 St at 19th Ave. When you get to 22 Ave turn left back to Home Rd. The increased distance is made up by having a smoother incline and much quieter roads. While at 22 Ave check out the cascade of junipers in the garden straight ahead of us in the middle.
