Bleriot Cable Ferry

Back Drumheller Home Gallery Home ViewCalgary Home
After a short drive north of Drumheller along the Dinosaur Trail highway, you find one of the few ferries still operating in Alberta. The Bleriot Ferry is one of the oldest cable ferries (established in 1913) and the only one remaining of the 13 that once crossed the Red Deer river. On the other side, the Dinosaur Trail returns to Drumheller in about 30 kilometres.
