The Banff Train Station. Regular passenger service was discontinued
in the early 1990's for economic reasons. Specialty rail tour companies have stepped in
to satisfy the demand for scenic tours through the mountains, so the old station
continues to thrive during stopovers.
In the background is Mount Norquay, one of three
excellent (and steep!!) ski mountains located in the park.
