Bobsleigh / Luge Track
| The finishing turn on the bob and luge track. Besides the refrigeration system
(pipes along the side of the track), more traditional methods are also used to shield the track from the sun - note the tarps covering
the turn. Rides down the track are available (for a fee) to the general public. A padded bobsleigh-like sled (the "bullet") takes 4 riders down the track in a little over a minute. Top speeds can reach 100 KM/hour. |
