Riley Park, an oasis in the heart of the city's core, has been drawing crowds for decades to its
manicured lawns, colorful flower displays and popular kiddies play area that features an ankle-deep splash
pool and playground equipment. On an almost daily basis, you can even take in a cricket match or two (not something
you'll readily find in Winnipeg).
This is a great place to bring the kids to let them work off some excess energy before dinner, to have a family picnic, or to
get away for a little quiet relaxation. Then before going home, be sure to visit the farmer's
market that sets up every Wednesday (May - October only) beside the Sunnyside Community Center. It's located across the street
at the west end of the park.
