| The sunny mountain in the centre is known as Vimy Peak, named after the famous World War I battle where Canadians won a major battle. The peaks to the right of it are Nt. Boswell (sits on the border between Canada and the USA, and Mt Cleveland (highest mountain in Glacier National Park, Montana, USA). Upper Waterton Lake reaches into the US, to the right, while Middle Waterton Lake extends left, towards the prairies of Alberta. The rocky cliff on the left is part of the south face of Crandel Mountain. | |||
