| Sulphur is extracted from sour natural gas at the Balzac plant just NE of Calgary, and stored in a huge block, awaiting shipment by rail in liquid and pellet form. The pile on the right is carried by conveyor to hopper cars operated by "Sultran", which transports the product to Vancouver for export. |
