Crowchild Trail / Shaganappi Trail Interchange

Located in the northwest corner of Calgary, this interchange is one of 4 major changes that will occur
along Crowchild Trail expressway during the next 2 years to speed up traffic flow from outlying districts towards
downtown. This southwest view down Shaganappi Trail was taken a few weeks ago and is already
out-of-date. The central roadway has been torn up, with traffic now using the new bridges. In addition,
the low areas seen here have been filled with landfill to form a base for the final road sections that
connect the two bridges and complete the square design of the interchange. |
