Calgary Downtown Tour Looking North at 7 Avenue and 2 Street SW

The park on the left provides a welcome spot to sit down and enjoy an all-to-brief sunny moment in the late autumn and winter. Being surrounded by the reflective glass surfaces of several nearby office towers, you can actually get pleasantly warm in here, even though the ambient air temperature is at or below 0o C.

The foot bridge, part of the Plus-15 system that spans the downtown area, connects the parkade on the right with the Energy Plaza building on the left and First Canadian Center, further to the left and just out of camera range (turn left for a view).
