Calgary Downtown Tour Looking South at 3 Avenue and 3 Street SW
The wide sidewalks along 3rd Street make for a pleasant walk in spite of the crowds that fill up this street during lunch hour (we caught this scene just before it filled with people). The pedestrian bridge in the middle of the shot links Shell Canada Centre on the right with the Westin Hotel and is part of Calgary's Plus-15 network of indoor passageways which criss-cross the downtown. Welcome refuge from the cold winters that can occur here.
