Calgary Downtown Tour Looking South at 5 Avenue and 1 Street SE
The park on the left is home to the Family Of Man sculpture. Ahead on the right is the North West Traveller's Building and the Salvation Army's downtown drop-in centre.

For an interesting and unusual sight, take a right turn here and proceed down 5th Avenue 1 block to the Petro-Canada Centre. Suspended from the ceiling of the atrium is a bush plane which saw service in the Canadian north. It is an impressive display.

If you continue forward, you will reach the Olympic Plaza and the Light Rail Transit system in 2 blocks.
