| Energy Plaza has been home for several energy companies that have disappeared over the years, thanks to the dynamic nature of the Canadian oil industry. One of the more memorable companies to headquarter here was Bow Valley Industries (with interests in Canada and abroad, particularly the North Sea) until Talisman Energy took it over in the mid 1990's. |
