Stampede Breakfasts

Every morning during the Stampede, breakfast is served from
the back of a chuckwagon on many of the street corners downtown and at other locations like
office towers, hotels and shopping malls. The food is plentiful, the price is right (free!) and the atmosphere is
relaxed and friendly. You may even see a politician or the president of a major corporation put on
the apron and take a turn flipping the flapjacks or scrambling the eggs. As these photos suggest, it's
a popular way (some would say it's the ONLY way) to start off a day of serious stampedin'.
