Western Exhibition & Trade Show

The Round-Up Centre again provided the setting for this year's exhibition of western art
and the stampede trade show. The newly-opened expansion area provided more room this
year to comfortably display fancy quilts and decorated cakes, view western art exhibits,
shop for unique stampede souvenirs, pick-up something to satisfy that sweet tooth, or
purchase a chance on the "Pot o' Gold" lottery ($200 thousand grand prize) or one of
the other draws for a car, boat, or dream home. A local TV station set up a
temporary studio in the new area to broadcast their daily
