During the Stampede, thousands of visitors travel to Olympic Plaza (renamed
"Rope Square" for the 10-day event) to take in the free variety show
that daily takes place. Fluor Engineers & Constructors sponsors the affair which include Indian dancing,
old west-style gunfights, marching bands, hat-stompin' contests, clowns,
giveaways, appearances by pop singers and favourite mascots, and numerous other
festivities. And of course, the ubiquitous stampede breakfast starts off every
