To the south we see the shell-like structure of Lindsay Park sports facility, (Talisman Centre), with the Elbow river running right to left in front of it. It can only be a matter of time before the foreground is re-developed, but as at 1998 Victoria Park was a mixture of commerce, residences, and surface car parks for the Stampede grounds, (to our left). In the centre distance is Chinook Mall, and beyond that Highway 2 heading to Lethbridge and the USA border.
