From the east side of Shaganappi Trail you can look west across Montgomery towards Canada Olympic Park and the Rockies. We are about 8km from downtown, and a few blocks to our right is Market Mall. The community of Montgomery is surrounded by parks - Edworthy to the southeast, Shouldice to the southwest, a hillside park that runs along Montalban Drive, plus several smaller parks and playgrounds. Behind us, next to the University of Calgary, is the Children's Hospital.
