Pathways abound in Calgary, and we are on a cliff-top trail in Bowmont Park heading towards Silver Springs. Below us is a gravel pit, with the Bow River Pathway beyond it on this side of the river. The community of Bowness lies ahead. Behind us a trail heads north through the community of Varsity. There is access to the river, from this point on the pathway, down a steep pathway about one kilometer ahead. Click here to see a 443 KB enlargement
