This picture is already of historical significance, as the houses in the foreground have all been replaced by high rise buildings. A slight, late-afternoon haze is picked up as we almost face into the sun, just minutes away from sunset. Ahead is the 14th Street bridge over the Bow river, and to its left you can see Bow Trail curving as it crosses the CPR tracks. The dome of the Science Centre can be seen in the lower-left, and to its right 6th Avenue heads west to become Bow Trail.
