This view is taken from Olympic Way, (4th St), between 11th and 12th Avenues, facing northwest. The school is framed by the downtown skyline, and is quiet because of the Christmas holidays.

The original school was built in 1904, but only the 1912 part remains at 411 11th Ave. SE. Thought to be built by William Dodd, it was constructed as a raised-basement, two-story school. Visually impaired teacher Elsie Leak taught here. (back)
