We are looking north along north-bound Macleod Trail, with 12th Ave behind us. Just past the Ziff offices is Security Plaza at 1101 through 1113 Macleod Trail. As its name suggests, it houses A-1 Security and Locksmith along with other merchants.

To our right the LRT tracks are emerging from the tunnel that connects to 7th Ave downtown. If you go up to the Calgary Tower, you may be surprised, as we were, by how much the tracks curve undergound after leaving 7th Ave. Behind us the LRT stops at Stampede Station. (back)
