We are on Macleod Trail near the intersection with 17th Avenue, with traffic heading north. In the middle is the historic Fire Hall number 2, which has arched doors leading onto the Trail. EMS and Fire Dept vehicles still use the building, and activate a traffic light to halt the traffic when they are on their way to an emergency. Behind us are the LRT tracks between Stampede and Erlton stations. This photograph was taken in mid-morning on a crisp February day. (back)
