We are on Macleod Trail at the intersection with 17th Avenue SE, with traffic heading north. There are commercial and retail buildings all along 17th Avenue for several kilometers, and it is worth taking time to explore the area. The LRT tracks are immediately behind us, but there is a pedestrian bridge to our right at Stampede station. Vehicle access across the tracks to Victoria Park is provided by 10th and 12th Avenues.
