| Victoria Park Scenes | ----- Welcome ----- |
| In late December of 1999 we had a visit from Eileen Stan of the Victoria Crossing Business Revitalization Zone. She brought us a walking tour brochure, and a CD of their Photographic Archive, which we highlighted in our Community section while the BRZ developed its own site. In 2004 we removed the images, and you can check out the Victoria Crossing BRZ web site directly.
We have several images of the area in our newer galleries, most notably the Calgary Tower views, Calgary Stampede galleries and Calgary at night. Click on any of these images to see its gallery.

| Located southeast of downtown Calgary, Victoria Park lies between 10th and 18th Avenues, bounded by the Elbow River and 2nd St SW. This is the view towards the southeast. | ![]() |
| This old community is already a blend of residences and commercial activities. There are several growth points, including expansion of Stampede Park, the conversion of warehouses to up-scale condominiums and offices along 10th and 11th Streets, and new commercial buildings along Macleod Trail. This is the view to the south. | ![]() |
| Light Rail Transit, (LRT), trains stop in the community on the way to and from south Calgary on the Brentwood - Anderson line. There are bridges across the Elbow to the south and east. Bridges under the CPR rail tracks connect to downtown on the north side, and Ramsay to the east, with links to 9th Avenue. This is the view to the southwest. | ![]() |
