NW Pathway Tours ----------
Confederation Park to U of C Varsity Courts------------ ----
| This is the
start of the tour, and we have entered Confederation Park
from 12th St NW on the south side. There is a stream
running on the right, and behind us the path goes
northeast to Queen's Park Cemetary at 4th St.From there
it is a short distance to the extensive Nose Hill
pathway. This tour goes across the upper part of the map,
past the golf course, to the north side of the University
of Calgary along 32nd ave. The woman in front had just stopped to ask what I was photographing. But before I could reply, her small dog decided to attack. Amidst snarls and tugged leashes, she said " Oh it's alright, he thinks you are a postman". For some reason this did not comfort me, but it did raise my sympathy for posties everywhere. |
