Confederation Park to U of C Varsity Courts------------ ----
| It may seem
strange to end this tour at Fire Hall #17 since we show
the terminus as Varsity Courts. But this is the dominant
feature, and it gives us a chance to express our
gratitude to all the city firefighters and EMS staff who
do such great work looking after us. One of the many
services they provide is the acceptance of hazardous
wastes at their stations. I have made a couple of trips
to this hall to deposit some dodgy containers left by a
previous owner of my house. Even though the staff may
just be back from an emergency call, they are always
cheerful and helpful. Thanks to you all. The connecting tours are from Varsity Courts to Market Mall, (coming soon), and from Varsity Courts to the Bow river at 29th St, via the Foothills hospital. You can also tour the U of C campus. |
