| We start this tour at 29 St and Parkdale Blvd. We shall be heading towards downtown via Crowchild Trail bridge. This tour is on the bottom-middle part of the map. On our left, 29 St heads north to the Foothills hospital. and on our right is the Bow river. This section of the Bow River Pathway is twinned because of its popularity, so cyclists and roller-skaters should stay on the left path, while pedestrians use the right path. The speed limit is 20 kph, but there are still some cyclists who treat it as a race track, so be careful, particularly at rush hours. This section is cleared of snow in winter, making it a viable commuter option. So let's go... |
