After the 11am start in Bowness Park, rafters steered east past Bowmont Park and fought several water fights with the crowds at the bridges on the way down to Edworthy Park, where there was a lunch break. At 2 pm the race resumed as the crews set off towards downtown and the official finish at Princes Island Park. As usual, the word "Race" is used in it's loosest sense, because the main objectives are to have fun and raise money for charity.
