These pictures of the Midway Fairground at the Calgary Stampede were taken in July 2002 at Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This is one of several galleries of photographs taken at the Stampede.Click here for gallery index.
The Midway has 57 rides provided by Conklin Shows. People of all ages are flung, swung, dropped and spun until they are dizzy and hopefully happy. The fairground occupies a large area in the center of the park, from the Grandstand to the northwest corner or, to put it another way, from Stampede LRT station to Erlton LRT Station. In addition to the rides, there are many other attractions, demonstrations and shows, so you can spend several days exploring it all.
Click the "Menu" button on the left to select Stampede events and photograph quality. The menu also has a "gallery" option which lets you see the thumbnails from the Home Page.
