| See the glass-sided elevators in the middle? Take them to the 8th floor for a "wow!" view of the inner core of the Municipal Building. The balconies are generally open to the public, but look out for some restricted zones, such as the one on our left. We accidentally strayed in there, but were met immediately by a polite staffer, who asked if she could help us. It was only then we noticed the sign. Oops! The tour will now jump forward to the Palliser Hotel.
